What Does Mindfulness Really Offer?

I recently attended a wonderful talk by one of my teachers, Mark Coleman, on his latest book, From Suffering to Peace, the True Promise of Mindfulness. Mark has been studying mindfulness for over 30 years. He decided to write this book because of the amount of hype that has come with the soaring interest in mindfulness. Mark is refreshingly upfront about the limitations of mindfulness. Through honoring the rich Buddhist traditions in which mindfulness was born, he also though offers readers a chance to experience its vast depth, and potent relevancy in current times. I highly recommend!
