We Were Made for These Times

We Were Made for These TimesWe Were Made for These Times

I was first introduced to Kaira Jewel Lingo during One Earth Sangha’s EcoDharma training. EcoDharma is an 8-month program that calls in contemplative practices to stay compassionately present and engaged with our increasing climate crisis. Essentially, I met her when I was navigating grief and resilience, and actively stretching my emotional capacities. Through her presence and teachings, Kaira Jewel Lingo shared with our cohort hope and courage as well as effective and accessible ways to work with difficult material.

So sitting down with her new book I knew I would be held in wise and caring hands. We Were Made for These Times: 10 Lessons for Moving Through Change, Loss, and Disruption is a gentle, powerful and practical guide for maintaining a sense of belonging and openheartedness through life’s ups and downs. I highly recommend.

A former ordained Buddhist nun, Kaira Jewel Lingo provides spiritual guidance to individuals and communities working at the intersection of racial, climate and social justice. Learn more about her HERE.
