Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave a speech at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia on February 4th, 1968 in which he offers a particular understanding of greatness – one that is connected to service and grace. It was titled Drum Major Instinct and was to be his last sermon. “To Serve” is an excerpt from that speech, set to music.
